Family Christmas Pictures
We took our family Christmas pictures this Sunday afternoon. I have to get to work on our Christmas card (I shoot to have them out by Dec. 1st). Needless to say, the 2 boys in turtlenecks and sweaters and Mya in a dress, tights, and headband did not feel like performing for the camera. All in all we got some cute pictures...but it was like pulling teeth. I won't post the pictures (don't want to spoil the Christmas card). Craziness? Yes, but fun all the same.

Logan got his ride on the carousel! This afternoon my mom and I packed up Logan, Mason and Mya and took them to the Gilbert House to eat lunch and check out all the activities. Fortunately, Ryan was able to come meet us and even stay most of the time. The kids loved all the exhibits. Mason and Mya seemed to like the bubble room best and Logan loved the large outdoor play structure. He also enjoyed 'grocery shopping', where he got to scan and bag his groceries. There are always so many fun things at the Gilbert House...and the weather was beautful, so we even got to eat outside.
After we left the Gilbert House I couldn't help but go by the carousel. By this point Mason and Mya were out cold in their car seats, but Logan was ready for the second adventure of the day. He got to ride three times. Twice with me and once with grammy (we took turns staying with sleeping babies in the car). What an exciting day; I love to take advantage of the gorgeous fall weather.
Do-Re-Me...

Every Firday morning Logan and I go to Kindermusik in Keizer. He has done it since he was just a little tyke...It is a children's music program with lots of hands-on activities. This term is entitled "Milk and Cookies"...all about home. He is a crack up to watch and today he especially loved playing with the parachute.

Play-date!

Today we had a great play-date (for the moms and the kids). Kim and Enez came over with their kiddos. We try to get together on Wednesdays if we can. Sometimes we go to Kims house in Washougal and sometimes we stick around here. Either way the kids always have a great time playing with toys and running around the house. I couldn't help but take a picture of what Logan's room looked like after the kids had been playing a while. They are such a hoot!
A girls purse-onality!

As many of you know I am sort of a 'hand-bag' girl. I like how they feel and smell when they are new....big bags, small bags, red bags, black bags, leather bags (you get the idea). Mya officially got her first handbag this week. It is a baby one that makes sounds, but it is loaded with good stuff like lipstick, a mirror, money, keys, etc. She is loving it! She is going to be a hand-bag girl too; I can sense it. We got this toy because the speech therapist recommended toys that interact with music. Mya is also sitting in a laundry basket because her physcial therapist said this was a good way for Mya to build trunk strength while she plays. I can't wait for all the girly things that are to come with having a girl...!

Let there be night!

I finally got on the ball and got darkening shades for Mason and Mya's room (Logan has had them forever). For those of you who may have not yet discovered them, they are the most wonderful things. They are the kind of curtains that make a room completely dark when closed...which promotes long naptimes around this house (always a crowd pleaser)!

Good Times with Friends...
.jpg)
This afternoon our good friends Denee' and Travis came down from Portland for a visit (Denee' has been my best friend since 8th grade...bad hair, middle school drama and all). Denee' and Travis are the best kind of friends, the kind that love to hold Mason and Mya and run around the house with Logan too. Logan loves Denee' and Bavis (Travis)! We did eventually find some time to sneak away from the kiddos and grab some dinner, however. We couldn't have asked for a better Saturday afternoon and evening! We are so blessed to have such awesome friends. We love you guys!
