Friends Forever....

Still pretty much the same....

Tonight Ryan and I got to grab some dinner with our buds Denee' and Travis. Denee' has been my bestest buddy since 8th grade. We are sort of kindred spirits. I always feel so renewed when I get to spend time with Denee'. I just love it. We can talk about nothing or everything....I got to see the awesome video of her recent mission trip to Uganda. It was so nice to catch up that after she and Travis headed home I began reminissing. I pulled out the scrapbook Denee' made me our senior year in high school. It is full of funny things like our sports pictures, banquet pics, camp, sr. trip, and pretty much anything else you can imagine. I had myself in stitches remembering all the wonderful times we shared. Here were a few of the highlights! I didn't go to the trouble to scan them in...I just took pictures of the scrapbook, but you get the idea!

I cheered, she played basketball.... Sr. Trip--Newberg

Great shots!:) You are so fortunate to still live close to her! I get so homesick when I think of Sarah and the good ol days. Cherish the bond you and Denee have, they are not easily created.

I thought of both of you girls last night. Becca- I was dying laughing at our 'asian brocade' 8th grade graduation dresses. Whatever posessed us girls to want to match? Eeek! KC- I was looking through all our camp pictures from Delano of me, you and Denee' in matching overalls, white tanks and tennis shoes on the camp sign. They are very funny! Hilarious in fact. Meanwhile...I sense a theme, matching? I must've had issues!

One of the things that keeps me teaching is thinking of the many kids like you girls who always give me a reason to see hope for the future in the kids I teach. You, Denee, Kim, Becca, and many more are all such wonderful wives, moms, and women who continue to love and the Lord! I feel blessed this morning to read about "yall!" Tears in my eyes, but I'm sure that doesn't surprise you!
